Texas Stock Team (TST) is UT Austin’s foremost investment organization. TST was founded by Martin Rosas, Sang Shin, and Mickey Damani in the spring of 2013 in hopes of creating a tight-knit and welcoming community in the broader field of finance.

Since 2016, TST has shifted to focus on fundamental analysis. Novice members with little to no experience are welcome to apply to the organization and become familiar with the market, corporate finance, stock pitches, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling. They are encouraged to formulate investment theses in their own time, and execute on those ideas with real or virtual money. They are challenged to think like a financial analyst and research different markets and industries.
